The anointing isn’t a feeling or emotional high; it’s not something you “feel” to know it’s real. It’s also not the same as talent or charisma; someone can be naturally gifted and still lack God’s anointing. The anointing isn’t given for personal glory or self-promotion. It’s never about making a name for ourselves but fulfilling God’s purpose. And finally, the anointing isn’t limited to preachers or the church platform. God anoints people in every area of life—business, parenting, leadership, service—wherever He wants His power to flow through willing vessels.
