I want to share two scriptures with you today: 1 Timothy 6:11-12 - But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Romans  10:17-18 - So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

We know how faith comes, it comes by hearing. We must continually listen to God's Word to be strong in faith. Faith can't be stored up.  You can't live on yesterday's faith or Word, and you need to get it fresh for today.

I believe that many people have faith, but they don't know it.  I am convinced that many people know the Word of God and believe it.  It’s not just enough to have faith; you must use it or activate it. It's like having an electrical outlet in your home, you can't receive any benefit from the power source unless you plug something in, and then turn it on. The power is present but not beneficial; the same could be said of your faith. It may be present, but if it's not active, it will not benefit you. How do you activate your faith today?  By the confession of your mouth, as you confess the Word of God over your life, it's like taking the plug and plugging it into the outlet.

Mark 11:23-24 - For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

What you speak with your mouth and believe in your heart is faith. As you speak to the mountains in your life, natural things will change. You might say, “I am speaking, and I am not seeing things change.” It’s okay. Just keep speaking and believing, and they will. It might take a little time, but God's Word works.

Remember that faith always involves impossible things for you to accomplish in your own strength. Allow God to move in your life.  Speak the Word of God over your situations today, and continue to believe in your heart. Make sure you have a constant supply of the Word of God in your ears and eyes every day. Your faith will move mountains in your life and make a clear path for you to walk on.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask that you help me continue to put the Word of God into my heart to develop strong beliefs based on it. I want to be fully convinced of your promises and have them firmly fixed in my heart and mind.  I also ask that you help me to speak what I believe. Help me speak truth to the circumstances that face my life, and help me to stay loyal to the beliefs in my heart over the circumstances. Father, I know that you are a God of power and might and that all things are possible to those who believe. I thank you and I choose to believe your Word, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
